Business Development Manager (Ventures Healthcare)

Ventures Healthcare (VHC) was established in 2009 and is a subsidiary of Ventures Middle East. We specialize in healthcare facility planning and consulting, program and project management consulting for all types of healthcare facilities, medical equipment planning consulting and healthcare information technology consulting. Ventures Healthcare is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated sales professional to join our team as Business Development Manager.

The primary responsibility of the BDM is to sell consulting services and IT engagements to healthcare industry both in public and private sector to enable healthcare providers managed or improved their patient care delivery. The incumbent will be working side by side with the application team.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the proposal development and presentation of consulting services.
  • Ensure implementation of deliverables to client, acts as the company representative and advisor on both sales and technical aspects.
  • Provides expert knowledge in the growing trend in the sector and updated policies in the healthcare industry.
  • Negotiate long term service agreement with clients, maintain and preserve relationships with existing customers.

    Job Specification:

    • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or related field required.
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in Healthcare IT environment is required.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in selling HIS, EMR and other healthcare related applications (LIS, ERP, PACS).
    • Experience in selling technical services/consulting engagement is a must.
    • Experience managing large scale healthcare IT projects (preferred).
    • Local experience is a must (GCC)
    • Bilingual in English & Arabic
    • Should be willing to travel within GCC

    Business Continuity Management Consultant

    Ventures Risk Management & Compliance division provides a full range of services related to risk management and compliance including consultancy and training with specialized expertise in business continuity management and information security management. Our services keep your business anchored in the market through a practical, comprehensive and integrated business continuity management system. It is our core objective to offer end to end solutions for risk management, recovery measures and compliance based on ISO 22301 and National Emergency and Crisis Management Authority (NCEMA) standards. We aim to assist our clients to adequately respond to emergencies / disasters and eventually achieve ISO 22301 and NCEMA certifications.

    Primary Responsibility of the BCM Consultant is to oversee our major projects in business continuity, information security implementation and management.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Execution of major projects assignments for analysis, planning, development, implementation and management as per ISO 22301 and NCEMA requirements.
    • Establish and manage program requirements for business continuity internal audit scheme, monitoring and corrective action, and management review. Ensures the effective implementation of the ISO 22301, Business Continuity Management (BCM) process.
    • Carry out major projects assignments for ISO 27001 Information security.
    • Define, analyze, evaluate and documentation of client’s and related business units (including IT) functions, existing processes, legal requirements, new and critical requirements and their objectives.
    • Conduct a complete risk assessment for business function / unit issues and ways on how to reduce the risks through preventive and corrective actions. Develop and conduct awareness training for client’s and their business units whenever necessary.
    • Participation in client meetings and client interaction and business development presentations related to BCM consultancy and automation
    • Participating in business development efforts ranging from prospecting to preparation of sales materials and proposals.
    • Participation in client demonstrations for BCM tools
    • Leading the design of applicable solutions for the business problems identified during the project.
    • Develop and conduct awareness training for client’s and their business units whenever necessary. Design, develop and recommend recovery process structure, strategies, and management of business continuity with recovery solutions.
    • Other matters related to the development, implementation and management of BC.
    Experience & Qualification

    • Bachelor’s Degree/IT related
    • Fluency in English (Oral & Writing), Arabic is an advantage
