Job Summary:

The Associate Director – reporting to the Director of Advisory Services- plays a crucial role in managing and delivering key consulting projects within the Advisory Services Department. This role involves providing strategic advisory services to clients and overseeing a team of consultants to generate, manage and deliver projects while providing advice and guidance to clients. The primary responsibilities for this role are ensure the successful delivery of projects, cultivating client relationships, driving business growth and leading and managing the team

1. Business Development:
   • • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and partnerships leveraging your network and expertise.
     • Participating in business development activities such as creating compelling proposals and client pitches.
     • Expanding the client base and promoting repeat business through upselling and cross selling.
2. Project Delivery and Quality Control:
   • • Delivering a wide range of consulting projects, with a main focus on Strategy, Operating Model, Transformation, Organizational Development, BPM, Performance Management, and Customer Experience.
     • Developing top quality deliverables using consulting frameworks, tools and artefacts.
     • Preparing and delivering presentations to clients, often at executive level ensuring effective communication of findings and recommendations.
     • Implementing quality control measures to maintain high service standards.
3. Project Management:
   • • Managing the execution of consulting projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
     • Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful outcomes.
     • Monitoring project progress, budgets and overall projects’ financial performance
4. Client Relationship Management: 
   • • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
     • Identifying client needs and recommending appropriate solutions and services.
     • Acting as a trusted advisor, offering strategic insights and solutions.
5. Team Leadership: 
   • • Supervising, mentoring and guiding project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
     • Setting performance objectives, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
     • Setting and developing the learning and development strategy for the team.

What We’re Looking for

• Minimum 15 years of experience with minimum of 10 years of experience in advisory services in consulting firms.
• Proven track record of successfully leading consulting projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding and proven working knowledge of strategy development, formulation, execution, performance management, operating model, OD, Business Process Management, Customer experience, Policies and Procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex ideas and insights effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing project teams, and contributing to team development.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, economics, or finance, from a global top university or business school is preferred.
• PMP certified is plus
• Arabic Proficiency is a MUST
• GCC experience is a MUST
• Public sector experience is a major plus
• Frequent travel within the GCC is required.
